Ion Lipciu, the long-standing representative of the Moldovan Parliament to the Secretariat of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, has been recalled following a formal vote on Thursday.
The reason is in connection with an “assessment of the activity of the permanent representatives of the Moldovan Parliament in the administrative bodies of the inter-parliamentary organizations to which the Moldovan legislature is a party”, it was stated.
Mr. Lipciu was appointed to the post in 2004.
