Moldova's ongoing IMF program to be extended for another 3 months
Moldova's three-year program with the International Monetary Fund, which was due to expire in January 2013, will be extended for another three months to allow more time for its completion, Prime Minister Vlad Filat announced on Wednesday.
Filat said that the program's extension was agreed with the head of the IMF assessment mission, which today ended its visit to Moldova.
He added that until January and three months after that all the preparations should be made to negotiate a new cooperation program with this international organization.
