The Official Gazette – Parts 1-3, which contain legislation –  will be made available online and be free of charge to the large public, and Parts 4 and 5 will be available online and in print version for a charge, on a subscription basis and in newsstands, under a law adopted by Parliament.

The public will use the electronic version of the publication, and this will reduce the circulation of the Official Gazette distributed in printed form. The publication will be printed for a limited number of subscribers, such as the National Library or district libraries, to ensure access to the Official Gazette for those who do not have access to electronic devices and to the internet.

According to the publisher Moldpres, the annual costs of printing the Official Gazette amount to 9 million lei, while revenues from conventional subscriptions are 7.5 million lei per year. At the same time, online subscriptions bring in 850,000 lei annually, and the editing expenses are 712,000 lei per year.
