The Great International Master in draughts, Ion Dosca from Chisinau, is leading the Brazilian draughts contest in the first World Minsports Games. The prestigious event is taking place from October 3 to 18 in Beijing, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Moldova is leading the standings, after 7 legs and with 91 points. In round 7 on October 15, Ion Dosca made a draw with the Russian Oleg Dashkov, who is ranked the third. The quarter finals in Brazilian droughts will take place on October 16. The World Mindsports Games got together over 300 players from 60 countries and other 2,000 sportspeople in other mind games (chess, bridge, go, Chinese draughts.) The games are organized by the International Draughts Federation.
