Moldelectrica will conceal the real-time status of the national electric grid until June 2 to avoid “potential provocations”, the state company said in a press release.
Today at 11:03 AM, a power line of systemic importance went down, but without causing outages for consumers. However, at 1:28 PM., another line of systemic importance failed in Western Ukraine, causing a frequency drop in the joint grid, which led to outages in Moldova. All transportation lines in Moldova were reconnected within an hour.
Moldelectrica together with Premier Energy Distribution and RED-Nord are working to restore electricity supply in medium voltage subsystems to all consumers.
