The participants in a meeting staged in the Transnistrian village Corjova to commemorate those killed in the Nistru war raised the flag of Moldova in the local cemetery. A number of police officers in civvies blocked the access of several Transnistrian militia men who wanted to take the flag down. Alexandru Zubko, jurist of Promo-LEX Association who was on the spot, has told Info-Prim Neo that the meeting was monitored permanently by about 50 Transnistrian militia men, who walked through the participants, filmed and talked to the mobile phone. The commemoration event involved about 70 participants. Altercations between demonstrators and Transnistrian militia men often happen on March 2, when it is marked the start of the Nistru armed conflict. This year it is 21 years of the start of the war.
