Moldova’s national beach soccer team lost to Estonia 2-4 in the first game of Group B in the final phase of the European Championship Division B, taking place in the Italian city of Catania, IPN reports.

Moldova’s goals were scored by Andrei Negara și Dionis Ciopa. The team coached by Vasile Arlet also included Ruslan Istrati, Grigore Gojocari, Leonid Podlesnov, Alexandr Arefiev, Sergiu Nicolaiciuc, Alexandru Eremia, Alexei Capsamun and Victor Iordachi.

Today our team will encounter Hungary and tomorrow it will play against Romania. Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, England and Turkey are pitted together in the other group. The group winners will fight on August 28 for promotion into Division A.
