The Moldovan taekwondo fighter Artiom Roșca won the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships taking place in Tallinn.
Coached by Vladislav Mazur, Roșca scored two victories in the 48 kg category against fighters from Armenia and Bulgaria. In the semi-finals, Roșca lost to a Turkish competitor.
Over 400 athletes from 44 countries are competing in the European Junior Championships in Estonia.
On August 27, Tallinn will go on to host the G1 seniors’ tournament as well.
