Moldovans vote actively in Lisbon
As many as 958 Moldovans have voted at the four polling places set up in Portugal by noon.
Valeriu Ostafii, first secretary of Moldova’s Embassy in Portugal, who heads the electoral bureau of the polling place established at the Embassy, has told Info-Prim Neo that 409 Moldovans have voted in Lisbon on additional lists. “In these elections, the Moldovans are very active. There are queues at the polling places. But we are making everything possible for the people to be able to vote,” said Valeriu Ostafii.
The other polling places were opened in Faro, Portimao and Setubal, where there are most of the Moldovans, after Portugal’s capital Lisbon.
According to official data, there are 20,800 Moldovans in Portugal.
