Chisinau Friday hosted a Martial Arts Tournament involving wrestlers of the Moldovan club Lion and of the Romanian team Scorpion. There were held eight fights, six of which according to K-1 rules, Info-Prim Neo reports. After several hours of fighting, the Moldovan athletes scored victories in all the battles. The winners are: Alexandru Burduja, Pavel Voronin, Victor Curtis, Anatol Ignat, Vladimir Lipchin, Ramazan Murtazaliev, Ruslan Ianov, and Victor Rusu. The competition was organized by the Chisinau-based club Lion Muay Thai in cooperation with Fighting Entertainment Association. Lion club president Octavian Ilasi said this tournament is only a start and there will be organized more similar events. Scorpion club coach Mihai Constantin said the competition was organized very well. “I want to praise the organizers for this initiative. It is a competition allowing the beginners to develop,” he said. The next Martial Arts Tournament in Moldova will take place in April.
