Real estate experts say the Moldovans began to be interested in dwellings abroad, where the offers are better. Nicolae Ostafeiciuc, realty expert at the agency “Lara”, has told Info-Prim Neo that the people no longer want to purchase apartments in Moldova because the prices are too high. In the neighboring countries, the houses are sold cheaper. If they decide to buy something, they buy old apartments because they are cheaper. Furthermore, the buyers can move to them immediately. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the Construction Employers’ Federation “Condrumat” Pavel Caba said that new houses aren’t built and the works on building sites mainly stopped because the developers cannot get loans and investments. As a result, a deficit can appear on the market. Price rises are not excluded. Representatives of the realty agency “Nika Imobil” have told Info-Prim Neo that they do not want to make comments upon the situation on the realty market because the future direction is not clear. Most probably, the experts will make forecasts towards the end of the year.
