Representatives of a Japanese consortium will teach the Moldovans to efficiently use sold fuel. A Moldovan-Japanese agreement concerning consultancy services for implementing the project on the efficient use of solid fuel from biomass was signed by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov and project manager of the consortium Mitsui Consultants & Co and UNICO International Corporation Keiji Iizuka, IPN reports.
The company will purchase and install boilers working on pellets made from agricultural residues in schools and kindergartens from 25 villages and a set of equipment for making pellets in Chisinau.
In June, there was signed an agreement by which the Government of Japan provided a grant of US$14 million to Moldova for implementing the project.
