Voting at the polling place set up inside the Embassy of Moldova in Moscow takes place without incidents, said the head of the place’s electoral bureau Anatol Patrascu. He has told IPN that many people came to vote without having the necessary documents.
“No incidents have been reported so far. However, even if the information about the documents with which the Moldovan citizens abroad can vote was disseminated widely, a part of the Moldovans came with the identity card,” stated Anatol Patrascu, noting that voting abroad is possible only with the passport and the sailor’s record.
“In the morning, the queue was longer. Now it is shorter. I hope everyone will be able to vote,” said Anatol Patrascu. According to him, the polling place received a sufficient number of ballots for all those who want to be able to vote, but the polling place’s capacity is of at most 3,000 voters. The working program of the polling place can be extended, if need be.
