Moldovans could travel visa-free to Caribbean state

The Cabinet approved the signing of an agreement between the Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis - island country between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean - on the abolition of the visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official, service and ordinary passports, IPN reports.

The visa-free travel is intended for an uninterrupted stay or several stays whose duration will not exceed 90 calendar days cumulatively during 180 days. The visa exemption does not yet mean permission to work.

The Moldovans have visa-free access to 110 countries, with Moldova being placed 48th in the Henley & Partners’ Visa Restrictions Index. Germany holds on to first place for the fifth year running, with its citizens enjoying visa-free access to 177 countries in total.
