The mountain resorts remain the most attractive destinations for the Moldovans. For the winter vacation, they choose mainly such countries as Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, and Ukraine, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Tourism Agency of Moldova, the prices of economy packages for seven days vary between €80 and €290 per person. They include accommodation, transport, and meals. The winter vacation in Bulgaria costs €150 and more, by €100 less than in Romania. The prices in Austria are the highest – from €290, while in Ukraine the Moldovans can vacation for €80-100 per person. The trips to Egypt for two persons cost €1,000 and more, to the United Arab Emirates – €900-1,300, while to the Maldives – €1,300-1,500. The most popular tourist destinations in Moldova during the winter holidays are the resorts in Orheiul Vechi, Tipova, and Saharna. During the stay, the tourists enjoy different distractions, including sledding, boiled wine and Moldovan dishes, sauna.
