The citizens of Moldova can travel in Macedonia visa-free. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova said the Macedonian Government’s decision concerning the abolition of the short-stay visas for Moldovans took effect, IPN reports.
Now the Moldovans do not need visas for entering, crossing or staying in Macedonia for a period of 90 days during six months of the first entry.
The exemption from visas does not allow the Moldovans to work in Macedonia. The requirements for staying there on a long term are regulated by the national legislation.
The Macedonian citizens have travelled in Moldova without visas starting with July 31, 2015.
