Poverty, price hikes, unemployment and the children's future are the Moldovans' greatest concerns, according to the latest Public Opinion Barometer poll, Info-Prim Neo reports. Poverty ranks the highest among the greatest concerns, with 38.8% of respondents naming it. The children's future is the greatest concerns for 16.2% of respondents. Next come prices and unemployment, with 15.2% and 11.3%, respectively. The Moldovans are also worried by corruption, financial woes, food shortage, diseases and high crime rates, among others. Asked how satisfied they were with transport services, 55.6% of respondents said they were quite satisfied, 29.3% were not very satisfied, and 8.4% were not satisfied at all. Very satisfied were just 5.2% of the respondents. As regards the education children receive in school, the greatest part of respondents, 47.1%, said they were quite satisfied, 25.6% were not very satisfied, and 10.2% were not at all satisfied. Other 3.3% were very satisfied. 28.7% of respondents were quite satisfied with health care services; 43.3% were not very satisfied, and 24.9% were not satisfied at all. Just 2.3% were very satisfied with medical assistance services. The poll also shows that 46.5% of respondents think their life is just about the same as it was one year ago, 29% think it worsened, and 22.7% think it somewhat improved. 7.4% said their lives worsened significantly, and only 0.7% said their lives improved greatly. The Public Opinion Barometer was commissioned by the Public Policy Institute and was conducted from October 30 to November 12 on a sample of 1,237 persons.
