A Moldovan man aged 18 died in a hospital in the Italian city Padova in the evening of October 24. He was seriously hurt on October 20 when the car in which he and another four friends of his travelled overturned in a roadside incline, IPN reports.
The local press reported the young man who died was a passenger. The car was driven by a friend of his who is also Moldovan. This suffered minor injuries and was discharged the evening the road accident occurred. There were two more Moldovans and a Dutch man on the back seat. Doctors estimate they will stay in the hospital for 10 to 30 days.
The operation to take the men out of the car lasted for about three hours. Speeding is the preliminary cause of the accident. The version that the driver was under the influence of alcohol was excluded.
