Paulina Esanu became European sambo champion among juniors in the 52 kg weight class at the European Sambo Championships in Prague, IPN reports.
Victor Sterpu won silver in the 74 kg class, while Mark Latyshev and Fedico Ehtiandru won bronze medals in the 65 kg and, respectively, 81 kg classes.
The European Sambo Youth and Junior Championships involved about 200 athletes from 25 countries.
