The Greco-Roman wrestlers of Moldova made an unsuccessful debut at the World Wrestling Championship held in the Danish town of Herning, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the 84 kg class, Adrian Mocanu was beaten by South Korea’s Hyo-Chul Cho, while Anatol Moldovan (96 kg) lost to Margulan Assembekov from Kazakhstan. Moldova’s last representative Vladimir Zaporojan (66 kg) enters the competition on Sunday, September 27. The World Wrestling Championship 2009 brought together more than 500 wrestlers from over 50 countries.
