The Moldovan women's table tennis team has advanced to the Challenge Division after showing an exceptional performance at the European Championship which ended Tuesday in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Moldovan team won 5 victories in 5 matches against Wales (3-1), Azerbaijan (3-0), Finland (3-0), Latvia (3-1) and Kosovo (3-0). Following these successes, Moldova ranks 33rd, which enables it to pass to the superior echelon. The Moldovan team at the European Championship was composed of Irina Shmyganovskaya, Olga Bliznets and Elena Mocrousova.
