A 41-year-old woman from the Republic of Moldova, who worked as a dentist in the city of Brăila in Romania, was found dead by her assistant. The victim had several stab wounds caused with a sharp object on her body. The murder was committed when the assistant was away at a nearby store. It happened on Tuesday evening, at around 7 p.m., IPN reports, with reference to Pro TV (Bucharest).
“A woman with traces of violence was found dead in a dental office. A prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Brăila Tribunal and operational teams of the Brăila County Police Inspectorate went to the scene to carry out checks,” said the spokeswoman for the Brăila Inspectorate Elena Ostache.
Sources close to the investigation team said the victim feared for her life and intended to buy a gun. The police started a criminal case for murder. The aggressor has not been yet identified.
