Moldovan woman working abroad with forged passport
A 48-year-old woman tried to enter Moldova through the Leuseni customs post with a forged passport.
The woman, who is native of Bender, was returning home from the Czech Republic, where she had been working. She confessed that she bought the Ukrainian passport for US$600 six years ago in order to go abroad to work. Meanwhile, she got used to the new identity and did not realize that she was to enter Moldova in the same way as she left it – through the Transnistrian segment of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a communique, the Border Guard Service says the woman was taken to the police commissariat in Hancesti town, where she will be further investigated.
