Moldovan wines presented in China
A ceremony to launch the Moldovan wines on the Chinese market was held in Beijing. The event was attended by a delegation of the Moldovan Government led by Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the executive's press service. The ceremony was organized by the Embassy of Moldova in Beijing and HongKong Allfriends Consulting Ltd.
Allfriends Consulting director Shi Yanlin, who heads the Moldovan-Chinese Socioeconomic Cooperation Center, approved of the quality of the Moldovan wines, stressing the importance of promoting them on the Chinese market.
In the official launch, a number of bottles of Moldovan wines were emptied into a glass figurine representing the Great Wall of China. As part of the ceremony, Vlad Filat had a meeting with the mayor of Lianjiang town He Xin and a group of local businessmen. The mayor said he intends to found a club of persons who like Moldovan wines and to take steps to promote them.
The Chinese businessmen expressed their willingness to take part in the Wine Festival that is celebrated in Moldova every October.
