Moldovan wines exported to Russia despite expiration of Solntsevo terminal license
The Moldovan wines get to Russia without problems, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov stated for Info-Prim Neo when asked if the expiration of the license of the Moscow-based Solntsevo terminal, through which the Moldovan wine products go, is not an obstacle to the export.
The license expired on October 19. “There will be no hindrances to the export of the Moldovan wines. The Prime Minister assured us of this. Officials of Russia’s food safety body Rospotrebnadzor also said there will be no problems,” said Vasile Bumacov.
The subject was raised by Prime Minister Vlad Filat in a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on October 18. Vlad Filat asked renewing the license and Vladimir Putin said he will give orders for the problem to be solved.
