Republic of Moldova citizens will have the possibility to send and receive postal parcels with jewelry and precious metals. The Parliament has approved in the first lecture a law draft in this matter, and made modifications to the law regarding the import and export of merchandise by individual persons from Republic of Moldova. The project has been forwarded by the Ministry of Informational Development, which explained the necessity of changes since Republic of Moldova signed the Universal postal convention. The opposition deputies have declared that these changes are unreasonable, as postal workers cannot properly estimate the value of the jewelry and precious metals and this will lead to lead to losses in the state budget. Deputy Dumitru Braghis believes this project is made so that someone could use it for a brief period of time. The modifications were approved by the communist deputies vote.
