A Moldovan put on the wanted list seven years ago for theft was arrested near the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, about 500 meters from the border line, IPN reports, with reference to the Border Police.
The man explained that he was performing agricultural works. He had no identification papers on him and was accompanied to the police station for having his identity determined.
It was established that this was a 44-year-old Moldovan citizen from Grimancauti village who has been wanted since 2011.
