Those who didn't manage to apply to universities during the first round of admission will be able to do so in the repeat round that starts today and will remain open until August 8, Info-Prim Neo reports. As publika.md reported, the largest number of places remaining after the first round are offered by the Moldova State University: 212 tuition-free places and about 300 places on contractual basis. The Technical University has 200 remaining places, all on contractual basis. The Moldovan Academy of Economics holds a second admission round for the first time, offering 200 further contract-based places at the IT Faculty. The State Pedagogical University Ion Creanga has 32 vacant tuition-free places and an yet undetermined number of contract-based places. The Medical University Nicolae Testimiteanu won't hold a second round of admission as all the places on offer have been filled.
