Moldovan tennis players have shown good results at the international tournament Chişinău Open, destined for under-16 players, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the doubles, the Moldovan players won two victories. The favorite pair at men's, Eugeni Celarschi / Maxim Dubarenco, defeated Russians Evgheni Elistratov / Valeri Sobko in two sets, 6-0, 6-2. Dubarenco and Elistratov will compete again on Friday in the men's singles finals. In the women's doubles, the Moldovan pair Daniela Ciobanu / Alina Soltanici won the competition, beating Iulia Sergheeva / Veronica Smochin in two sets, 7-5, 6-2. In the women's singles, Iulia Sergheeva will play the surprise of the tournament, Olga Terteac. The competition is part of the Tennis Europe Junior Tour and is held on the courst of the tennis club Aliten in Chisinau.
