Moldovan students win two bronzes at International Chemistry Olympiad
Students from Moldova have won two bronze medals at the 43rd International Chemistry Olympiad “D. Mendeleev” that was held in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat during April 25 – May 2, 2009, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Ministry of Education and Youth.
Moldova was represented by four eleventh and twelfth graders from Chisinau and Balti. The students of the twelfth grade of the Balti theoretical high school ”M. Eminescu”, Valeriu Scutelnic and Ana Stymcovskaia, won bronzes.
The Olympiad brought together 105 participants from 13 countries. It had three rounds – two theoretical and one experimental.
