A group of Moldovan students fond of lifesaving activities will be taking part in the 2010 World Championship of Young Firefighters and Rescuers that will be held nor far from the Belorussian capital of Minsk during September 16 – 22. Liliana Puscasu, press officer with the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the students were selected according to the results achieved in district competitions. The Moldovan squad consists of eight students aged between 9 and 17. Moldova takes part in this championship the fourth consecutive year. In the previous competitions, the Moldovan team ranked second and third among 14-16 participating countries.
