The delegation of the Federal Ministry of Germany which visited Chisinau for several days participated in tactical applications of the canine-policemen from Drochia town. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI), the tactical applications of the dogs were organized on the territory of the Canine Center of the State Guard Service of Drochia. The dogs and their human colleagues showed what they have learned during the beforehand-trainings. According to the tactical applications agenda, an attack over the patrolling guards was simulated. The mobile squads of the State Guards Service hunted down the offender with help of the specially trained dogs. The offenders were caught in a record time – 3 minutes, fact that impressed the German guests. They highly appreciated the activity of the Canine Service from Moldova, mentioning that the Ministry of Internal Affairs from Chisinau must lay stress on the development perspectives of this service. At the same time, German policemen declared that they are willing to collaborate and to exchange experience in training police dogs according to the specific training methods.
