The Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, which assesses the quality of law education in Moldova, held a session to form internal assessors in Chisinau on March 10-15.
In a communiqué, quoted by IPN, the Embassy of Romania says that during the six days there were held working meetings and was presented the quality assurance in higher education strategy and the general framework for ensuring this process at European level.
Besides teachers and representatives of law education programs, the formation session was attended by a student from each education program. At the end of the session, the participants took an assessment test and received a participation certificate.
In the immediate period, the internal assessors will produce reports on which the external assessment of the 17 state and private universities with law faculties will be based.
The contract for performing the external assessment with the Romanian Agency was signed last December. A generalized report will be compiled after the 17 universities are assessed.
