Moldovan policeman maltreated by Transnistrian militia
Transnistrian militiamen have maltreated Alexandru Bazga, police chief inspector of Corjova village.
According to a press release from the General Prosecutor’s Office, on April 12, by 11.15 am, eight militiamen, including militia chief of Dubasari town, Nicolai Pestov, entered the headquarters of the police station “Fulger-74” of the Dubasari Police Commissariat, placed on the territory of the theoretical Lyceum “Mihai Eminescu” in Corjova village, Dubasari raion.
They maltreated Bazga, who was exercising his professional duties. Having his hands tied, Bazga was forced to get into their car and taken to the militia station in Dubasari.
Almost 3 hours later, Bazga was set free, after the military observers of Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, OSCE and Commander of peacekeeping forces were informed about this case.
The Dubasari Prosecutor’s Office initiated criminal proceedings on this case.
