The prosecutors in cooperation with officers of Chisinau's Rascani Police Commissariat discovered about 30 kilograms of hashish in a car on February 3, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting sources in the Prosecutor General's Office. The drugs were hidden in 32 packs among the parcels transported by a car traveling from Portugal to Moldova. The driver told the police he did not know what the packs contain. He said he was contacted by the owner of the packs by phone and asked to transport them to a certain place for 5 euros a pack. The owner was detained several hours later. On the same day, the police found about 1 kilogram of hashish during a search at the owner's house. The Rascani Police Commissariat ordered taking legal action over illegal circulation of narcotic substances. The investigations go on.
