Moldovan pilot dies in helicopter crash in Ukraine

A Moldovan pilot died, when the helicopter flown by him, owned by the company „Agroavia-Chisinau”, fell on a high voltage line in a locality of the region Nicolaev, Ukraine. The pilot burnt alive. The manager of the company „Agroavia-Chisinau”, Aliona Lopatiuc, informed that the tragedy has occurred on Monday, July 3, at 7:00, on a field near the locality Podogorodnaia of Nicolaev region. The helicopter КА-26 №ЕR 19358, flown by Veaceslav Nidiga, aged 46, was rented by Ukrainians for performing irrigation works. Suddenly, the propeller of the copter has touched the high voltage line and which captured the flying machine. On firemen’s arrival body of the pilot who already burnt. The death of Veaceslav Nidiga has made two children orphans. According to Aliona Lopatiuc, only one chopper of the company „Agroavia-Chisinau” was working in Ukraine, other machines being hired in Romania.
