Moldovan Patriots to protest outside Romanian Embassy in St. Petersburg
Supporters of the Moldovan Patriots Party have announced they will stage a rally outside the Romanian Embassy in St. Petersburg on Sunday to protest the “pro-unification policy of Romania and its interference in Moldova's domestic affairs”, the party said in a press release.
The demonstrators will also ask the Russian political leadership to support Moldova's sovereignty.
The party's leader Mihail Garbuz confirmed to Info-Prim Neo the plans to hold such a protest rally in the Russian city, but didn't offer any details, saying that he wasn't directly involved in organizing it.
The protest would be in reaction to a march calling for unification with Romania scheduled for Sunday in Chisinau.
