Moldovan MFA recommends avoiding travels to Japan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) recommends avoiding unnecessary trips to Japan in connection with the disasters caused by the devastating earthquake on March 11, MAEIE said in a press release, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The Ministry recalls that Moldova doesn't have diplomatic or consular missions on the territory of Japan and recommends any potential Moldovan citizens currently visiting Japan, in case of stringent need, to seek help at the Romanian diplomatic mission in Tokyo.
The Ministry has offered contacts for such cases:
Address: 106-0031 Tokyo-to, Minato-ku, Nishi-Azabu, 3-16-19;
Phone: (00813) 34790311; 34791804; 334790411;
Embassy e-mail: office@ambrom.jp;
Consulate e-mail: consular@ambrom.jp.
Additionally, MAEIE is asking the relatives of the Moldovan citizens currently visiting Japan to contact the Consular Affairs Department by calling 201041 or 201050 to provide details about them.
