The Easter Liturgy will be held with the involvement of priests and church personnel who helps officiate at religious ceremonies, while in the case of monastic communities, only with the participation of monastery inhabitants, IPN reports.

The faithful are urged to pray at home as they will be able to follow the service on radio and TV stations. For the service at each church to be followed, sonorous systems could be installed there or the service can be broadcast through social networking sites.

Each bishopric will coordinate, together with the local public administration and the local police inspectorate, the method of taking Holy Fire and blessing food on Easter night. If the locality is small and has several dozen families, the priests can go to each household. The priests can also bless the food in the yard of the church, but by strictly observing all the epidemiological measures.

The elderly people should avoid going out of home. The neighbors, relatives or volunteers of the bishopric can take food blessed on Easter night and parcels with food products on the occasion of Easter to the sick and the elderly.

The Moldovan Metropolitan Church calls on the parishioners to obey the recommendations formulated by the authorities in connection with the state of emergency.
