About 40 librarians of the B.P. Hasdeu Library of Moldova during July 22-29 will be taking part in a professional formation program stated by the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest as part of the project “100 years of Bessarabia’s Union with Romania” that is implemented in connection with the Union Centenary Year, IPN reports.

In a press release, the organizers said the invitees will attend professional sessions and workshops conducted by librarians of the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest and representatives of the institution’s partners. The Moldovan delegation will visit a number of branches of the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest and cultural institutions in the Romanian capital city.

The project “100 years of Bessarabia’s Union with Romania” is aimed at creating an area of professional meetings and interaction between librarians so as to simulate the exchange of information, experience and good practices, and at validating solutions and innovative projects for the community that are proposed and implemented by libraries at local, national and international levels.
