A Moldovan man died, while his son suffered injures when the parked car in which they were was struck by a truck registered in Romania. It happened on the M1 highway 65 km from Budapest on October 18, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova said the son of the killed man was admitted to the Tatabanya hospital in Hungary. He is now out of danger.
Moldova’s Embassy in Budapest contacted the competent Hungarian authorities to find out details about this case and identified and informed the relatives of the victims of the accident.
In another accident on October 17, a bus with Moldovans running on the Moscow-Chisinau route was hit from behind by a car in Russia’s Orlov region. Consequently, a passenger from the car died. The occupants of the bus weren’t hurt.
