Moldovan K1 fighter Vitalie Mitsu, 22, died Thursday during a training session at the Bucharest-based Fighting Academy of Ciprian Sora, Info-Prim Neo reports. Witnesses said Mitsu felt sick right before the training session and died almost instantly. The Bucharest police have already ruled out physical violence as the cause of the death. Mitsu was supposed to be the training partner of Semmy Schielt, the renowned Dutch K1 champion, who came to Romania to promote Sora's Academy. “I can't believe what happened. I'll do everything to help the boy's family”, Ciprian Sora told Romanian reporters.
