For the first time, a Moldovan will go around the world on his motorcycle. Ghenadie Satov will start in June and will cover some 100,000 km. The journey will last about 15-20 months as will cross over 40 countries, in function of the obstacles that he may stumble across, Info-Prim Neo reports. Ghenadie Satov is 47. He told a news conference on May 5 that the trip is a single occasion: “I will meet very many people from different countries and I will tell them many interesting things about Moldova. I hope I'll make them interested and they will visit our country.” “From the climatic view, the African countries are the most difficult to pass through,” he said. Satov added he is accustomed to any type of journeys and has not visited but Australia and Antarctica yet. His route crosses Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Australia, African countries, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Columbia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, etc. The action is supported by the National Olympic Committee and the tour company “Holiday Service.” The journey will cost about 130,000 euros.
