A group of Moldovan businessmen will go to Finland to exchange experience. Simultaneously, they are considering the possibility of organizing a business forum in Chisinau for the Finish investors to be able to know the opportunities in Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman said after a meeting with her Finish counterpart Erkki Tuomioja, IPN reports.

Natalia Gherman said that Moldova and Finland have close cooperation relations, with the Finish authorities launching cooperation initiatives by which they expressed support for Moldova’s efforts to build a prosperous and European state. There are good examples of Finish investments in Moldova, as the company TeliaSonera, which invested in the telephonic communications market of Moldova.

Referring to the situation in the region, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Erkki Tuomioja said that each state is free to choose its own method of cooperation with the EU and nobody can infringe on this choice and the chosen path. The close relationship between the EU and Moldova is not aimed against other states or communities.
