Moldovan exporters warned to avoid Bryansk-Troebortnoe checkpoint

The Ministry of Economy urges the companies that export goods to Russia to redirect the merchandise to other checkpoints than Bryansk-Troebortnoe checkpoint as Moldovan trucks with agricultural products formed queues at some customs posts on the border with the Russian Federation, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry, the phytosanitray and veterinary customs procedures were stopped at Bryansk-Troebortnoe, while in Klinty there is a long traffic jam at the customs post, which does not have the technical and organizational means needed to hasten the phytosanitray and veterinary procedures. Also, the Embassy of Moldova in Russia informed that the license of the storehouse specialized in performing phytosanitray and veterinary procedures at the Breansk-Troebortnoe checkpoint has expired. No changes related to the phytosanitray and veterinary checks are anticipated at other checkpoints on the border with Russia. The procedures for clearing wine and alcoholic products at Bryansk-Troebortnoe weren’t affected by the mentioned changes.
