The state-run company “MoldData” and the Dutch company “SpamExperts” established partnership relations for combating spam and malware in the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

“MoldData” has so far used different in-house anti-spam solutions, but these were not every time efficient because they could not control and reduce the large volume of spam.

The two companies will implement message filtering out methods on entry and exist. Thus, the risk for the users to receive or send harmful email messages will be eliminated. The anti-spam service is provided free to the users of the hosting services provided by “MoldData”. The anti-spam technology was implemented only locally, based on the first public cloud platform in Moldova.

Coordinated by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, “MoldData” is a state-owned company that registers names in the ccTLD.md domain.
