The Moldovan duo Alina Stremous - Maxim Makarov finished eighth in the Biathlon World Championships held in Germany, in mixed relay, IPN reports.
In the final, Moldova achieved the time of 37.37:8. Norway became world champion in this event, while Austria and Italy ranked second and third, respectively.
Stremous and Makarov missed only seven targets at the shooting range and yielded up only to Austria in this regard.
