A youth from Moldova and a 60-year-old man from Romania have drowned on Sunday, August 12, on the Italian shore, reports Mediafax on its website. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration from Chisinau has confirmed the case, for Info-Prim Neo, and says that the information had been given by their colleagues from the Moldovan Consulate in Bologna. The men drowned near the Casal Borsetti resort, on the Italian shore of the Adriatic Sea. The safeguards had prohibited entering the water, due to high waves and strong currents. Nevertheless, several tourists ignored the warnings and went for a swim. Data about the youth from Moldova, i.e. age and name, cannot be made public until his relatives have not been notified.
