Moldovan delegation goes to Moscow for 5+2 format negotiations
A delegation of Moldova headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov went to Moscow to take part in the 5+2 format Transnistrian conflict settlement negotiations that will stat in the first half of the day.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, senior consultant of the Reintegration Office Raisa Popa said the Moldovan delegation also includes the head of the Reintegration Office George Balan and the head of the Foreign Ministry’s OSCE and International Security Division Vlad Cuc.
The delegation left for Moscow in the evening of June 20 and will return to Moldova on June 22. No details about the agenda of the discussions were made public. The meeting will involve representatives of Chisinau and Tiraspol, mediators on behalf of Russia, Ukraine and OSCE, and observers representing the EU and the U.S.
