Moldovan cyclists will take part in Tour of Romania

Cyclists from Moldova will participate in the 44th Cycling Tour of Romania, which will take place from June 23 to July 1. According to organisers, nine teams have confirmed their participation in the race so far. The tour will include Curtea de Arges - Pitesti - Tirgu-Jiu - Deva - Alba Iulia - Sibiu - Bilea Lac - Medias - Izvorul Muresului - Toplita - Piatra-Neamt - Botosani. Teams from Ukraine, the Netherlands, Greece, Germany, Turkey, Austria and the Bulgarian club team Hemus Troyan, the national junior’s team of Romania and five Romanian club teams will take part in this year’s tour alongside the Moldovan cyclists. The race this year will have eight stages. The route will be 1,200 kilometres in length. The Romanian Federation of Cycling and Triathlon will award 500 euros to the winner.
